This is a pretty simple tee, but it speaks an ineffable truth. Fact is, we like most dogs more than just about all people.
“The dog is a gentleman; I hope to go to his heaven not man’s.” – Mark Twain
Grunts: ineffable.
"I read the Odyssey because it was the story of a man who returned home after being absent for more than twenty years and was recognized only by his dog." - Guillermo Cabrera Infante
"If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went." - Will Rogers
Byron certainly had it right when he wrote this.
Epitath to a Dog
Near this Spot
are deposited the Remains of one
who possessed Beauty without Vanity,
Strength without Insolence,
Courage without Ferosity,
and all the virtues of Man without his Vices.
This praise, which would be unmeaning Flattery
if inscribed over human Ashes,
is but a just tribute to the Memory of
BOATSWAIN, a DOG.
Note: we also have a Brit and Canadian version of this shirt!
